Overview
Healthcare terminologies are the standardized vocabularies, codes and classifications used to describe medical concepts, procedures, diagnoses and other healthcare-related information. TermHub™ is terminology as a service: A high-performance, scalable, cloud-based solution for managing those terminologies.
Initially designed as a prototype to test feasibility, gain financial backing, and define MVP, this product is now currently in the market.

Brand Development
The TermHub™ Logo
TermHub is the center of your terminology management needs. Inspired by the "hub" portion of the name, logo ideas started by incorporating hub imagery. Wanting to differentiate our brand from the common blue theme of most terminology & healthcare products and services, green was chosen as the main color. Green is new, refreshing, optimistic, and is associated with good health.

The Design System
The initial style guide was defined and included a complimentary color palette and a few rules for typography and logo placement. Continually evolving, the design system has expanded to include form and data table elements, dialogs and notifications, cards and widgets, and rules for responsive design.

Building a Project
A Project in TermHub™ is a collection of terminologies gathered in one place. A project can help you translate data between different standards and visualize terminology changes and updates over time. You can perform semantic or queried searches on the entire collection, and configure terminologies to update automatically or on demand.

The Terminology Browser
The Terminology Browser is the heart of TermHub. It's where the work of understanding medical terms, their relationships and properties, happens. With a complicated data set, the browser has to not only provide powerful search tools, but it has to be organized in a way that allows easy data manipulation and consumption.

Next Steps
A Browser Redesign to Serve Mobile Devices
Initially designed for desktop use only, the Terminology Browser is currently being redesigned to work well on mobile devices. It's particularly challenging because of the large and complicated data set that is included with each term or concept. Different displays are being created and the hope is to allow current users to test and guide us to the best solution.
