Branding Reniu
What Sylvia Had
Sylvia came to this project with a photo of a wall plaque bearing her business name and images of her beautifully appointed medspa. Inspired by the beauty of the Fibonacci sequence, she wanted to incorporate that into her logo as well.

What We Built
From those ideas and photos, the brand began to evolve. A color palette was solidified, an image collection was curated, and logos were created. With growth in mind, we went beyond a standard logo and made images that could be used for social media, a business card or email signature, and physical packaging.
The original sign used the font, Amalfi Coast, and the flow of the script felt luxurious. It was modified to increase readability (early user feedback told us some of the letters were hard to read) and a custom "R" incorporating the Fibonacci spiral was produced.
The color palette, soft blues and neutrals with a pop of bright coral, evokes a feeling of serenity while giving signage and collateral a modern touch.

The Website
A Quick Build
After domain & competitor research was analyzed, work began on the site structure and content placement. I then completed low-fi prototypes to test basic flows and interactions. With that solid foundation laid, and the brand direction decided, the build was quick.

The Mobile Experience
Extra attention was paid to the mobile experience to ensure users could easily access all information and tools, no matter which device they chose to use.

Impact
↗ Mobile Engagement Increased 41% - serving up a solid mobile experience makes mobile use popular.
↗ User Feedback Increased 52% - a measurement based on direct user feedback over time.
↗ New Bookings Increased - the easy-to-use chat and text-to-book feature are increasing new bookings.
Next Steps
Add Booking Feature
One of the main considerations in choosing a platform for Sylvia's website was finding one that would allow for growth and offered features well-suited to small businesses. One such feature is a booking calendar that allows clients to easily see Sylvia's availability and book online. This offering will help her stay competitive, provides excellent customer service, and can also generate new customers.
SEO Deep Dive
SEO best practices were used while creating this site, such as including title tags, keywords, image alt tags and focusing on site structure and quality content. But now that the proverbial dust has settled, we may dig into to other enhancements that can help with local SEO and drive conversions.
