Realizing that being a working artist (with paint and brush) can be a tough way to make a living, I changed my focus early on to include digital art.

Digital art morphed into graphic design, where I created logos and helped companies with their branding. It also brought me to web development where I learned UI design working on digital banking products. Direct client engagement helped me become aware of how our product touched users and put me on a path to learn how to make those interactions better.

My focus now is UX & product design. I enjoy every part of product creation, from inception to launch. I have a knack for seeing the big picture, but still sweat the details. My goal is making products that truly center around people's needs, while still meeting business goals.

What else can I bring to the table? Years of people experience! Being a skydiving instructor for more than 20 years demonstrates how I can prepare & coach people through challenges while helping them mitigate risk. Founding a roller derby league shows that I am not afraid of hard work and that I know how to keep business goals a priority - while having fun. Leading teams of trainers to open new restaurants all over the country honed my leadership skills and left me with a deep appreciation of excellent customer service. My love of travel and experience-seeking keeps me energized and open-minded.
